Sussex Beach Lifesaving Competition 09/09/2023
9th September 2023 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
This is a beach lifesaving championship for all levels and abilities in lifesaving. Entry Closes on the 6th September 2023
There are 3 categories: Rookies under 15, under 13 and Seniors over 15.
This will be in accordance with the International Lifesaving Rules adapted to suit venue in the age groups as at 31 December 2023
These are the events for Seniors:
Paddle Board Race, 1 per team, 180 – 250m
Cobra Ski Race, 1 per team, 180 – 250m
Rescue Tube Rescue, 1 team of 2, 180 – 250m
Surf Race, Max 2 per team, 350 – 450ms
Cobra Ski Rescue, 1 team of 2, 180 – 250m
1K Run. On Grass, Max 3 per Team, Top 2 score points
90m Sprint. On Grass, Max 3 per Team, Top 2 score points
These are the events for Rookies Under 15 and Rookies Under 13:
Sprint Run. 70m, 50m
Sprint Relay. 4 x 70m, 4 x 50m
Distance Run Tag Relay. 4 x 180m, 4 x 150m
Wade Tag Relay. 4 x 70m, 4 x 60m
Swim Tag Relay. 4 x 70m, 4 x 60m
Paddleboard Relay. 4 x 50m, 4 x 40m
This competition is being held on 9th September 2023 at Eastbourne VLGC Club House. Entries are £30 per team.
